Mist EliminatorsThe employment of mist eliminators,
electrostatic precipitation, and coalescing filters can all be used to remove
airborne particles. To create an air barrier that particles cannot flow
through, these are positioned in front of doorways. High-voltage electrodes are
used to charge particles in electrostatic precipitation, which attracts them to
collector plates that have opposing charges. By using a series of baffles to
force larger particles to fall out of the air stream and be collected, mist eliminators
remove particles from air streams. It is meant to clean process air pollutants
that form as mist droplets. These contaminants could include chromic acid,
sulfuric acid, entrained oil mists, machine coolant, and other things. |
